About us

Jody began her practice of yoga over 30 years ago when, as a teenager, she was diagnosed with a double scoliosis of the spine. Her love of yoga has grown over the years, and in 2010 she took the decision to do a teacher training course in Glasgow. This deepened her knowledge and understanding of the different aspects of yoga, and gave a renewed passion to share this knowledge in a fun and informal way in her classes.

Jody practices, and has trained with, teachers in the Shadow Yoga tradition. This influences the content of her classes, along with the more traditional hatha yoga technique.

Kerry’s embraces yoga as a journey into the self and way of life. In addition to classes, she leads a Yoga Health Coaching Course, where she guides people to their potential through living in Ayurvedic daily rhythms.

Kerry qualified as a yoga teacher in 2013 and now explores the Scaravelli approach to yoga. She focusses on exploring freedom and space in the body, feeling it from within, rather than prioritising the shape of the pose or stretching. Kerry trained as a Polarity Bodywork Therapist 12 years ago, so she her classes are hands-on and intuitive.

Diane has been practising Iyengar yoga for over 15 years. She qualified as an Introductory level teacher in 2007, and went on to complete her Junior Intermediate level 1 Certificate in 2016. She taught Iyengar yoga in the Stirling area for over 9 years, before moving to Arden, Loch Lomond.
All teachers of Iyengar yoga are trained to very high standards and are fully insured; this is part of the reason that Iyengar yoga is one of the most widely-performed methods of yoga worldwide. When you see the certification Mark it means an Introductory teacher has completed at least 3 years of regular Iyengar yoga classes followed by two years’ teacher training, and has successfully passed a rigorous assessment. Intermediate teachers have been practising and training for many more years and have passed further assessments. All Iyengar teachers are required to maintain their professional development each year to qualify for continued use of the Mark.
